Course objectives

The course aims to introduce the students to omic data, with particular focus on transcriptomics and ChIP-seq data, and to the principles of their statistical analysis and biologicla interpretation

- understanding omic data and the main techniques fo their analysis

- understanding how to extract biological information from omic data

- ability to perform simple analyses of transcriptomic data (class comparison, class discovery, enrichment analysis)
