Phd thesis
Capitalizing on the theoretical hypothesis that aesthetic experience may play an evolutionary role in signalling what is relevant in the environment, my project aims to investigate the relationship between aesthetic experience and learning dynamics throughout the entire life span, both in the healthy and in the pathological model. Studying the aesthetic experience across the developmental span might provide further insights about the relations between learning processes and beauty within the developmental trajectory.
Furthermore, during my PhD, I will explore the relationship between aesthetic experience and specific psychological and psychopathological traits, such as anxiety and depression.
