Performance-based and self-report assessment of psychopathological profiles and treatment outcomes in individuals with eating disorders

Research activities

My clinical research focuses on the emotional factors and personality features associated with the psychopathology of feeding and eating disorders. I am particularly interested in the conceptualization of psychopathology as a complex system and in the interplay between the elaboration of internal sensory cues (i.e., interoception), emotion recognition, and premorbid personality traits. The goal of my activity is to contribute to the personalization of care for individuals with eating disorders, through the identification of person-specific disorder-maintaining factors.
