Course objectives
- The main objective is to update PhD students on current diagnostic and treatment approach in psychiatry, with particular reference to
the advances in translational research in mood disorders;
- The secondary objective is to show connections between depression, metabolic disorders, resistance to psychopharmacological
treatments and drug repurposing options for overcoming treatment resistance;
- The expected learning outcomes are the have awareness of some potential application of neurosciences in such widespread disorders to
